Have you seen Normani’s Motivation? I can’t take my eyes away. Why? Just look at the video. Normani is a star, but so are those dancers. I met @draydrayworld1 and dance muva @itsbankhead a few years ago. I casted his crew for an LG project. It’s incredible to witness talent develop year after year — legendary status. Not only is this crew strong but a pleasure to work with. Keep risin’ to the top 🤩🤩🤩 I’m inspired. image via @draydrayworld1

Pioneer Jackie Shane 02.png
Some people are born before their time, Jackie Shane is one of those people. In the 60s, Jackie broke ground as a Black transgender artist and consequently, defied social laws in the Jim Crow South. Jackie Shane had the courage to be her true self. She died at 78 years old on 2/22/19. Listen to one of Jackie Shane’s final (rare) interviews on CBC radio
